I just received my call as well. They say the letters will be out mid week. Good on the RIV to pick up the phone!
I always wanted PLATES FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!

I have been an ardent supportive follower of CWB since its inception. When RIV “allowed” the importation of ‘08 Cadillacs I jumped into action. Through a broker in Ontario I brought in a ‘08 Caddy SRX and saved a considerable some of $$$$. the broker I used has access to the Detroit GM auctions and was thus able to acquire a very low mileage vehicle, fully loaded. Furthermore, the same broker can get just about any vehicle a customer wants.I pick up my caddy in a couple of weeks, when we go back to Canada from our sojourn in florida.
The only “pickle” is that I have to purchase a third party warranty. But even with this glitch, I still saved a “whole lotta bucks”
Keep up the great work guys…

I have purchased a 2008 Jayco Seneca HD in New Jersey, saved big $$$$$ and obtained a recall letter from Jayco at $0.00, GM wants $250.00 for theirs and RIV will not accept Jayco’s with reference to the GM Chassis even though Jayco is the end stage manufacturer (which is in RIV’s recall section but when I phoned they said that only applies if the first and second manufacturer is the same, but it does not say that specifically). Another $250.00 grab. GM is rude to say the least when confronted. I think we need to have this requirement dropped as when ownership changes, recall notices are sent automatically anyway, hence a waste of $250.00. Can anyone advise me as to what to do in this matter, I would very much appreciate any input.
