MARY CIARALLO-LAMB September 13, 2009 It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of the loving and devoted wife and best friend of Robert U. Lamb, beloved mother of Melissa Marie and Jessica Robin. Loving daughter of the late Adamo and Elisa Ciarallo. Dearest niece of Anthony and Eugenia Ciarallo and family, Albert and Connie DiGregorio (Ottawa) and family and her many other aunts who loved her. Loving daughter-in-law of Robert and Shirley Lamb. Sister-in-law of Brenda Lamb, Julie Anne Hughes (Richard), Graham Lamb (Linda) and families. Devoted friend of Andree Thibodeau. Also survived by many friends and relatives across Canada and the U.S. Mary was a devoted employee of Nortel Networks for over 35 years. She never missed one day of work, always multitasking and ensuring the job was done well and with a smile. Ready and willing to provide a helping hand to anyone in need. Her kindness and generosity touched everyone she met. May her laughter and joy echo forever in our hearts and minds. An angel on earth and now in heaven! All her loved ones and friends are invited to celebrate Mary’s life at the Rideau Funeral home, 4275 Boul. des Sources, Dollard Des Ormeaux, 514-685-3344 on Friday, September 18, 1 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Thomas A Becket, 4320 Ste. Anne St., Pierrefonds on Saturday, September 19 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s memory to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. It is with deep regrets that I learned this morning the passing of Mary Lamb - Bob Lamb’s wife on September 13, 2009. Our thoughts and prayer are with you Bob, Jessica and Melissa.

On behalf of all the members of CarsWithoutBorders we would like to wish Serge all the best as he retires today after 26 years of dedicated service to the St. Lawrence Seaway.
My wife and I had the honor and pleasure of attending the retirement ceremonies yesterday that were sponsored and attended by his fellow workers.
We were overwhelmed at the turnout, and the kind words of thanks directed to Serge.
You are quite a guy Serge! All the best to you and your family.
I would also like to thank the Seaway folks that made Mary and feel so much at home.
CarsWithoutBorders would like to extend a very safe and happy holiday weekend to all our members and supporters.
We have been working hard to ask our leaders where they stand on our consumer issues.
One Liberal from NDG has written us back indicating that Liberal Values will look after all consumers. And I have been personally flooded with spam from the liberal party, encouraging me to vote Liberal, but not bothering to answer our questions.
The Conservative party members in Quebec have been told not to give media interviews, not to attend local debates, and we assume not to return phone calls or emails! They have completely lost any hopes of a majority by some rather awkward moves on Culture and Crime. They must have been listening to the folks in “Hero” euxville. They are directly responsible for the rise of the BLOC in recent polls.
The NDP have remained silent.
The Green have talked a good game but no commitment.
We encourage our members to follow-up on their e-mails with phone calls to their local ridings.
But more importantly please spend some quality time with your family this week-end.

Honda Canada denies any responsibility but decides to pay 15,000 Quebec Honda and Acura owners $37.50 each ( what about the rest of Canada, and North America? ) is this a play to cut losses and run?
A Honda spokesman stated, “”in the in the interest of customer satisfaction” and to avoid the further expense, inconvenience and distraction of burdensome and protracted litigation.” Maybe they need to move their Lawyers onto something else!

BMW brand sales were down 4.6 percent, to 25,469 vehicles compared to 26,689 vehicles sold in May 2007. Year-to-date, BMW reported sales of 110,569 vehicles compared to the 119,359 reported in the same period a year ago, a decline of 7.4 percent.

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., June 3 /PRNewswire/ — Chrysler LLC today reported total May 2008 sales of 148,747 units, which is 25 percent below the same period last year. Total May sales reflect a combination of record sales of Chrysler’s newest highly fuel-efficient vehicles, an unusually high 40 percent cut in monthly fleet vehicle sales and a continued industry wide slowdown in pickup truck and SUV sales. All sales figures are reported as unadjusted.
