So you are all upset with the RIV! They will not serve the Canadian Public. but appear to be in the pockets of the Car Manufacturers.
One way to get even is to buy some of their shares - LIV.un - and then go to the shareholders meeting and raise hell! Even 1 share entitles you to vote and attend the meeting. Maybe we should hold a CWB conference at the same local on the same day.

Another way is to sell their shares short! If enough of us do it together what would happen?
Today was an ex-dividend day, watch how the boys at Bay street drop the price over the next couple of weeks! They do this so they can buy it back at cheaper prices and take advantage of the monthly distributions!
Are Transport Canada employees allowed to buy shares in Liv.un? Would it be considered a conflict of interest? I wonder if Mr. Cannon owns any shares? Brian who you say?
Here is their 3rd Quarter report - do they mention the RIV revenues that are around 10% of their revenues?
What do our members think of this type of initiative? Should we make it a “forum” topic? Or should we just wait until TC or The RIV decides to answer our e-mails and provide us with answers to our questions?
We are unable to find the truth about the ecoAuto refunds - but then again they are not saying anything so no one is not not-telling the truth.
Here is my e-mail to the Assistant Deputy Minister. If you would be entitled to an eco-Auto refund, please register your case on the site - we will use the names from the site to support our position. If there is no action, CWB will escalate.

Co-founder of CWB, Bob Lamb was on the radio show with Zack Spencer. This was a very good 1 hour show that discussed the history of the immobilizers issues, how the RIV operates and how the RIV lists are updated. Bob explained the political action that was done by everyone involved and how CarsWithoutBorders was the Enabler.
The show brought over 1,200 visits to our site from all across Canada and over 50 people signed our electronic petition which will be presented to the government.
Please continue supporting the site and telling your friends and family to sign our petition for fair car pricing and visit the forum.

( We are wondering if we should not create our own “CarwithoutBorders” call-in video/audio show and stream it over the internet on a weekly basis )
On a further note you will see that we have started displaying some adds on the web site. Any funds raised will be used to pay for some of the internet help we are getting and go towards “information picket” signs, and possibly the ability to create a weekly streaming video show over the internet! Stay Tuned.

We are very happy to start the new forum for CarsWithoutBorders. Thanks to George and his team. We are still working on fixing up the new forum - making it easier to use - so please bear with us - but this site is all about your needs - so please tell us what to improve, how we can help in order to achieve fair pricing.
You will need to register and log-in in order to post on the forum. The forum is intended to share ideas, experiences and rally the members to get action from the Car companies, the RIV, and Transport Canada. We do not have any advertising or source of revenue. All the work is done by vounteer members who are all fighting for a fair deal right here in Canada - Buying in the USA is hopefully a temporary measure that will force fairer pricing in Canada. In the meantime, we need to fight all those barriers being constantly put up. We started the forum with 4 categories and it can increase to as many categories as we need to arrive at full success. If there are any members that want to volunteer as moderators, please advise.

We are reading all your comments and we agree there is a need to have a Forum-type web site. We are currently looking at new software that will permit forum discussions. Stay tuned.
Happy New Year to all members
Bob & Serge
Thanks for your heads up comments regarding the petition. We took a spin at a new “re-born” petition that we think goes to the heart of the matter and sets the tone for our real goal - Fair Pricing for Canadians!
If you are already a member and signed the former version, we will keep you on board, no need to sign again!
Further Notes:
We did this in a bit of a rush, and we expect that a few members of the media team might want to add a bit of polish to it later on, or when it is about to go to Mr. Harper and Company.
How many Canadians do you think would want to sign it..
100,000 200,000 or 2 million! It is up to each and every member and supporter to spread the word.
How many votes will be lost by Government inaction!
