Check out the Toronto Star, Mark Toljagic is right on and calls it as he sees it.
Canadians shopping for cars in the U.S. - again!
and take a look at some of the responses he has from your trusty Canadian car folks!

Auto Remarketing - a top Newsmagazine of the Used Car Industry in the U.S. has just published the weekly commentary submitted by Don “Donnyo” O’Connor.
Funny how the U.S. media folks picked it up, but the Canadian “little boys” probably got their wrists slapped from their editors for even thinking about publishing it!
Congrats to Don and CarsWithoutBorders.

We talked to a the RIV this morning, concerning the status of the revised RIV listing as a result of the changes to the new bumper regulations.
The new listing should be out by the end of the week. Seems that the folks at Transport Canada really want to do a thorough venting. It appears that we can even expect to see new manufacturers added as well.
We have been told that all vehicles in the backlog, that were held up due to the bumper issue, are being released.
Thank-you RIV!
Note: for those of you that did not catch the press release, we are assuming that the media deemed it insignificant (Canwest asleep at the switch!?) you can read it by clicking here.
