In case you were wondering what kind of cars are being the most imported into Canada. Well here is a list of 6 companies and how the 2010 1st Quarter imports compare to the 1st Quarter 2009. It’s going up boys and girls - going up even with all those hurdles.

Here is a picture of one of our forum members Manitou, he saved over $26,ooo on two Acuras - a MDX $17K and a TSX $9,000.
And Honda and Acura in Canada continue to advertise “Canadian Friendly” prices….
They should call it “Canadian Suckers” pricing.

Have you checked out the latest prices for the 2009 Honda Pilot 4WD XL, no fancy options added.
In Canada 44,520 plus 1,540 D&H = $46,060 Canadian $$$$
In U.S. $35,195 Plus $670 D&H = $35,865 U.S.
Correct me if I am wrong but this is the same car, exactly identical, except in the US model you have TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) and a trunk Latch (Now manditory in all U.S. cars) You have a safer car!!
Adopting such a great pricing descrepancy, Honda certainly thinks all Canadians are stupid!!
And did you ever read Honda’s Philosophy! We dare you to read this and not laugh…. and then cry for all the Canadians getting “gouged”.

Honda Canada denies any responsibility but decides to pay 15,000 Quebec Honda and Acura owners $37.50 each ( what about the rest of Canada, and North America? ) is this a play to cut losses and run?
A Honda spokesman stated, “”in the in the interest of customer satisfaction” and to avoid the further expense, inconvenience and distraction of burdensome and protracted litigation.” Maybe they need to move their Lawyers onto something else!
