GM has initiated a move to sell their vehicles on EBAY. Well welcome to the 21st Century. It is about time. Must be less overhead than going the delearship route. I wonder if they will pass on the savings to consumers?
I wonder if they will sell to Canadians?

Thanks Big 3 for continuing to screw the Canadian Automobile Consumer!! Thanks Canadian Govt. for your total lack of transparency in this matter.
Oh to be a big 3 lobbyist, sitting in my office in Ottawa plotting out how to screw Canadian Consumers.
Christmas bonuses must be good this year!
In the following article a top GM executives warns that Canada is not supporting the industry enough and risks loosing future jobs! 2008-09-19.pdf .
Sighting the fine example of our friends down south pumping up the big 3, GM, Ford and Chrysler, with $25 billion in low cost loans, their Canadian equivalents, with their hundreds of lobbyists are now banging on doors in Ottawa and threatening our politicians.
It appears lately that any failing company or industry in the U.S. can just go out and obtain $$$ from the U.S. Government, except of course Leeman Bros! Short term fixes in order to protect Wall Steet at the expense of the taxpayer.
We wonder how all this will affect the U.S. dollar down the road.
We wonder if it is the right and honorable thing to do!
It appears our Canadian and Provincial govts have been doing this for years.
Now we know why most polititians are avoiding our questions concerning their position on “Fair Pricing for Canadian Automobile Consumers”.
G.M. Canada remains silent. Mr. Low and friends will be maintaining Canadian “sucker” pricing.
Smart Canadians will shop in the U.S.
The new discounted price, makes the gap wider even given the recent tumble in our dollar!
Wonder what Mr. Low and the boys in Oshawa have planned now!
So GM U.S. today confirmed that it will offer employee discounts to everyone starting Aug 20th.

Stew Low, the Director of Communications of GM Canada, Oshawa Ontario, today replied to one of the articles in the Gazette dated August 6th.
(It took 7 days for GM to approve this?)
