Auto sector bleeds from bite of high fuel

U.S. vehicle sales plunged last month to their lowest level since 1991 as soaring gas prices mauled the pickup truck and sport utility vehicle markets and even bit into crossovers, one segment that has been a bright spot for the embattled Detroit Three.

We have posted the details for you as well.  Maybe this will loosen up some of the American Dealers to start selling to Canadians.

  The U.S. Government weighs in on a massive Ford recall!   Our Transport Canada folks have gone fishin!

Cruise control systems are linked to engine fires!!!  4.6 million vehicles not fixed!   For now owners need to deactivate the cruise control system; until parts can be found to fix the problem???

 And how come the recalls only apply to vehicles sold in the U.S. ?????  What about Canada you say!  Come on Transport Canada wake up! This can not be isolated to only Ford cars purchased in the US??
