Interested in 2005 Used Prius?

As most of you know, I had ordered a 2008 White Prius back in June from our Toyota friendly dealer - Keene - I got the phone call last week, that our new White 2009 is on the boat and will be available for pick-up mid October. I checked several web sites and this 3 month wait is quite normal for this hybrid car. I will compute my savings in detail and post after all is settled but in the meantime, I have to sell my wife 2005 Silver Prius.

Anybody interested - I will sell to the best offer - it is a 2005 Silver Prius - 85,000KM, Package B - Canadian bought! one woman driver - no accidents. In all it is a great car. I live in the Cornwall-Ottawa area. I also posted on Kijiji - the car will be available in mid-late October. Anyone interested please PM me.

I still have a few weeks to decide if I won't sell the brand 2009 White - Package 5 - GPS, Backup camera etc. Because the used 2005 is still running fantastic. Anyone interested in the 2009 - I will also listen to an offer. The sad part for the 09; in the USA they are now selling about $2,000 above MSRP and the wait can be up to 6 months.

Finally on a last note - my eyes just opened this week on why in Canada a brand new car loses about 30% of its value whenever you drive off the dealer lot??Answer : It's because used cars are easy to import from the USA and the Canadian paid 30% more for the car in the first place.
