Another new RIV List!

Looks like Transport Canada hired a bunch of summer students to really shake up the list. It used to look like a dogs breakfast, now it looks like…..(you fill in the words)
We had trouble spending time trying to find the differences, but if you are buying an Audi or BMW take care.

The Economist exposes Transport Canada to the world!

The latest issue of the Economist contains an article titled
“Not on our Roads” “Bureaucrats against electric cars and Progress” —
Now the entire world knows just how backwards Transport Canada really is. At the same time Harper and his oil backed Conservative Government look like a bunch of “banana republic” hoodlums.
We have captured the comments [...]

We were wrong!

Looks like we were wrong concerning Chrysler’s web site. If you look hard enough the prices are displayed and you can build a model in order to try and compare the pricing to the U.S. We might have jumped the gun too quickly.

They do,though, make pricing very difficult. The site is not very user friendly.

That’s right Canadians, they keep us in the dark and throw crap at us!
Make sure you price out your [...]

Rising Lease Expiries Lift Supply, While Higher Unemployment Reduces Demand!
The Scotiabank Group - has just released it’s “Global Auto Report” by Carlos Gomes. The Gazette picked it up, but the National POST appears to have missed it! 2008-05-01bns_auto.pdf 2008-05-01gazette.pdf
Looks like you might want to really check out the prices before you jump!
