I am interested in importing a 2008/9 Lexus GS 350. What is the pricing?

  2. sergelbergeron says:

Chris - a GS350 used in the USA goes for around $40,000 depending on equipment and milleage could be more or less. We can help you with this import. Can you write to me directly at serge@carswithoutborders.com to tell me the details - what equipment, what colour, what milleage - in which province you reside etc. or we can talk on the phone - send me an email with your phone number.

  3. Rob Kieley says:

Hi Serge, I am located in Newfoundland and would be interested in importing a late model RAV-4 Sport or Limited(possibly new). Are there any Canadian brokers I should be contacting to help faciliate documentation, border clearance, and transportation?

  4. sergelbergeron says:

Rob - hi - we have been referring members to brokers and in some cases it is really the best solution for the buyer. In the case of the RAV 4 Sport - you are probably looking at $5-8,000 savings. I would think this is a do-it-yourself purchase. Bob and I have been advising Canadians on options/procedures. We haven’t been charging anything, however we need to improve our cashflow. We are prepared to give you direct assistance. As you know the US dealers are forbidden to sell new to Canadians - however they can sell slightly used models. A RAV4 Sport used with 2-5,000 miles/kilometers is still considered new. You can shop thru the internet - go to the US shopping web site - the one I like is http://WWW.AUTOTRADER.COM (note the .ca is the Canadian equivalent) - there you can find the car you want. Bob and I can lead you all the way - even help you with the pick-up and the paperwork. We can help with the actual purchase negotiations also. Once you’ve done it once - you will be amazed by how easy it is for some models. The Toyota’s are the easier ones.
You can contact me or Bob serge@carswithoutborders.com or robert@carswithoutborders.com

Note to all reading this site - Bob and I are able to assist you all the way with your purchase. We want to show all Canadians and the media that importing a car is not that difficult - not reserved for the risktakers but for the average Canadian that wants to pay a fair price and save money. We can help in any province.

  5. Dual Citizen Shopper says:

    Gentlemen,

I am interested in purchasing a new car preferrably from the US but you mention that most dealers will not sell to Canadians.
Co-incidentally I am also a U.S. citizen. Will the sell to a U.S. citizen? Will I still be able to avoid state local sales tax as a non resident?
Please advise and I would like to learn more regarding receiving assistance from your organization during the process?

  6. dubai used cars says:

Automatic has much better resale. Toyota with 300,000 miles is better than a Hyuandai with 40,000 miles. Toyota has highest resale.
