Prius 2010

My wife Sylvie and I were in Toronto at the Auto Show and we were invited to a sneak preview of the Toyota 3rd generation 2010 Prius.  The car is quite impressive with all the new technology.  Sylvie and I were on camera giving our impressions.

The video in French is at www.prius.ca/fr   and the video in English is at www.prius.ca/en

It feels pretty strange to be on the Prius main site talking about Prius products when we know the fights we had with the car companies just a year ago on imports.

The Prius and Toyota are very good products BUT we also want good and fair pricing.

I guess we just don’t know the price they will be charging for this gen 3 model. I just love the solar panel roof that keeps the car cool in summer heat. I will certainly watch the US price with the Canadian Price.

the rep @ the toyota booth @ vancouver home show says it is supposed to be 2/3 Grand less then the old one BUT the honda insight is also supposedly 3/4 grand less in the USA than the US prius so if true no deals for CDNS!

I am really tired of seeing the government give out money to the car companies. I recommend tthat they give a tax credit deduction to the guy who buys a car. Then you’ll see more sales and only the smart efficient car companies would survive. Giving money to the big 3 doesn’t make them sell cars. Get the people to buy cars - maybe they have to be built in North America?
