Prius 2010

My wife Sylvie and I were in Toronto at the Auto Show and we were invited to a sneak preview of the Toyota 3rd generation 2010 Prius.  The car is quite impressive with all the new technology.  Sylvie and I were on camera giving our impressions.

The video in French is at www.prius.ca/fr   and the video in English is at www.prius.ca/en

It feels pretty strange to be on the Prius main site talking about Prius products when we know the fights we had with the car companies just a year ago on imports.

The Prius and Toyota are very good products BUT we also want good and fair pricing.

The CWB story - from “Words to Action” a study by Caroline Bergeron

My daughter Caroline Bergeron currently doing her Masters in Communications at Montreal University wrote the CarsWithoutBorders story entitled going from “Words to Action”.   This 34-page report earned her a well deserved A+.  If you can understand French, you will love this recapitulation of last year’s historic events.  There are numerous testimonies (in English) from members and she put it all together in today’s context of the internet and communications into action.  Enjoy the reading.

January Auto sales continue dismal trend, Toyota Canada Surprises!

Tag: Auto Manufacturers, ConsumersRobert Lamb @ 3:57 pm

Unless otherwise noted numbers are compared to January 2008; companies are all U.S unless noted as Canadian.

We find it a bit ironic, that Toyota Canada, the company that continues to support Canadians that purchase their vehicles in the U.S.,  appears to be doing fairly well given the current economic situation.  On the other hand of the Companies that have treated Canadian buyers of U.S. vehicles the worst, Honda Canada (Robert’s Civic) is down 37% and GM Canada (Mario’s Corvette) is down 46.6%.

…… we need say no more! …..

You must watch this video….your life might depend on it!

We did not know that according to the following report  tires have a life expectancy of around 6 years.  Whether they are used or not.  It appears that the U.S. and Canadian Tire consumer is left in the dark again by the manufacturer and our Government(S).

This time it could cost you you life.   Please check the manufactured date prior to purchasing your tires.
