Excellent news! I went to their site but couldn’t find any references to Lexus and the Volvo Canadian information seemed to be Toyota information. Other than these things (which I’m sure a quick email to Scott would resolve), it’s great news for me since I live close to the Northeastern U.S. They also sell Subaru I think in case anyone is interested.

I wonder why this particular dealership is unafraid of suffering the wrath of Corporate Toyota by openly selling to Canadians.

Do they do Lexus also? Anyone know of any co-operative Lexus dealers around Ontario?

I wonder if they are selling brand-new Toyotas to Canadians, or lightly used. By the way, Lexus dealerships will not sell new to Canadians; you have to go through an intermediary or buy used.

This is where I ordered my wife’s new 2008 Pure White Prius package #5 that I should get around September. So far dealing with Scott has been very good. To note that with the recent decrease of $1,900 in Canada - the price difference is getting smaller. I also went to see if Toyota USA had adjusted the price downward and they haven’t. Note also that the Eco-Rebate is not given on the US purchases. And this Eco-Auto program is to be stopped this year according to the last federal budget announcements. So in all my savings this time will be around $4,600 instead of the $8,100 I saved back in October 07. I am still quite happy to be saving that $4,600.

This is great. Hopefully other dealers in NH and other states will follow suit soon.
With the slowing economy and high gas prices..any saving would be great.

@sergelbergeron, Even though the jackass Conservatives tanked the Eco-Auto program, take into account that you get your PST back if you live in Quebec or Ontario (maybe others?) for driving an eco-friendly vehicle. I just got the cheque back for my ‘07 Prius for $1700+.

Also note that their prices are not exactly low. I just checked out an ‘08 Highlander Hybrid and they’re selling it for $45k. That’s $5k more expensive than a lot of other US dealerships around (same package), even if they do sell to Canadians. That same vehicle (I did not price out others, but thought it likely representative of their prices as a whole) in Canada is only a couple thousand more than what they’re charging. Factor in the fed. Eco-Rebate and you’re even. BE WARY!

jeffmackay,
I found this last year when I was pricing cars at U.S. dealers that openly sold to Canadians. Those that didn’t had lower prices.
