Green Levy Tax?

Remember to consider the Green Levy Tax when importing your vehicle into Canada.  You don’t want a nasty surprise at the border!

 The NAATA ( North American Automobile Trade Association) , in their June Newsletter highlights this issue and provides the documentation.   

We have provided the info here for you:

The Canadian Government imposes an excise tax, known as the Green Levy.  The Green Levy on a vehicle is calcualated based on its weighted average fuel consumption rating published by Natural Resources Canada.
