Nissan to Boost Production of Altimas
With Altimas having record sales, and Truck and SUV sales down, Nissan is waking up and starting to shift production.

The Altimas has a significant price difference in Canada and the U.S., note that the 2008 Altimas 4 door U.S. market car is inadmissible -not allowed in Canada - due to the “Bumper issue”. All other models are ok.
So is the bumper issue just trumped up to prevent a meltdown of their best seller in Canada?
