Bernier holds up Bumpers!! Papers lost with Julie??
We have just heard a rumor that our infamous Transport Canada amendment to Harmonize our Automobile Bumper Regulations with the U.S. and Europe has been held up with Bernier’s former Girl friend, Julie!!
Word has it, overworked and under whelmed Mr. Cannon requested Bernier to work it!
We guess he did.
Come on Harper please jump on it and pass the regulation, everyone agrees it is the overall good of the Canadian Consumer. Are you still interested in pleasing them!

Yeah, sorry guys, if you want people to take you seriously, you have to stop acting like the National Enquirer. I support your site, but please stick to the facts and the issues please, rather than pressing some sideline political agenda.

We also think the Bernier story really sums up how the Government is currently being run. By both the politicians and overpaid beaurocrats with life-long jobs and overly generous pensions…
Let us ask you the following questions:
1) Why has the Govt allowed this “self-certification” program to continue? Many of us know that the Manufacturers are hiding behind it to create barriers and prevent all hard working Canadian citizens from realizing a better standard of living.
2) Why does the Govt. hold public consultations on different ammendments to laws, but prevents Canadians from access to the minutes and revelevant information pertaining to the positions of different interest groups? Why does the Govt conduct it self with such lack of transparency?
3) Why does the Govt not provide us with the RIV statistics,numbers and metrics on a monthly basis? Why, when pressed by the media, are the numbers they provide always difficult to interpret?
4) Why is the Govt. sitting on this Bumper law amendment? What special interest group has asked them to hold it up?
5) When a Quebecer calls the Transport Department to provide help and or clarification, why is he shuffled off to a Quebec Lieutenant. Why does it take 4 months for this representative to respond in writing?
6) Why does the Govt. deny ECO rebates to Canadian Citizens that purchased qualifying vehicles from the U.S.?
These are only 6 items that outline how our Govt. is operating in relation to our cause: Fair Automobile Pricing for Canadians.
The Bernier affair simply re-enforces our opinion that the folks running the show, yes that is you Mr. Harper, and Mr. Cannon , with your Quebec reps, all lack the proper skill to do the right thing.
Yes it also points out all the beaurocrats sitting on “cushy” jobs waiting to pick up pensions for life. No one seems to give a damn as long as the “trough” gets bigger and the party continues.
In summary this posting does not even come close to “acting like the national Enquirer”, but is simply reminds us all what a sad state of affairs we as Canadians have created. It is a wake up call to Canadians all across the country to start demanding better, honest and transparent Govt.
