We were wrong!
Looks like we were wrong concerning Chrysler’s web site. If you look hard enough the prices are displayed and you can build a model in order to try and compare the pricing to the U.S. We might have jumped the gun too quickly.
- They do,though, make pricing very difficult. The site is not very user friendly.
Thanks to those that pointed out our error in a positive and contructive fashion. To those that were more aggressive we have an assignment for you. Please take your negative energies and turn them positive… take the challenge below!

Many have written us to tell us the prices do not exist. Many have written us to tell us we were wrong to make our post on May 2nd. And many of you have no opinion, and would never be caught dead driving a Chrysler product.
So in fairness to all we are giving you all the opportunity to comment on the Chrysler prices! Are they giving Canadians a fair deal. Do some work? We would like to hear from those that complained the “loudest”. Please feel free to price out the car you want on the Canadian site, then price it out on the US site. Let us know if you feel the pricing is fair.
- Make sure you also compare options… this is key!
Remember, they do not honor the warranty!

I complained fairly loud about the fact that the prices were not on there website. MIA CULPA for not looking harder. I still feel that the website (maybe not chrysler) is poor and they make it easier to have a sales person contact you rather than you get the info you need online.

Well good to see the retraction. I fully agree the person designing the new site needs a slap.
regarding price - I got an 08 Nitro R/T in august of 2007 before the dollar surged and paid about 32k for it on an original sticker of around 35,420 (I’m looking at it now). I see the same one optioned appears to be about 28,500 on dodge CANADA’s site after cash allowance (again this site is tough to manage) and insanely enough seems to be 30,510 on the US site after cash allowance.. So it appears CHEAPER in canada. Here is the tender trap about lowering prices, you sell your old customers down the river. At least they are doing it with incentives they can remove if the dollars realign.
I get my vehicle paid for by my company thank goodness. I don’t applaud chrysler for voiding wearranties on imported cars, but kudos to them for addressing pricing. They just came ff their 21st straight month of year over year sales gains so evidently canadians see some value.
