Bumpers - an update
We rec’d the following email today….
“Thank you for your comments on the proposed bumper amendment.
We are currently reviewing the comments that have been received. Once this review has been completed, it would be followed by a proposal for a Part II Canada Gazette publication of the final regulatory requirements provided that it is similar to the proposal published in Part I and provided that Treasury Board wishes to pursue an amendment. While we are not able to identify whether and when the final regulation would be published, we are working as fast as possible. Any final amendment would be available on the Canada Gazette website at http://canadagazette.gc.ca/partII/index-e.html .

This letter and Cannon’s previous remarks on the subject April 11th…leave a big gap, and don’t make us feel too confident.
We think it is time that all our members and supporters start e-mailing the Treasury Board Members. Let them know that this has gone on long enough, let them know you are upset, let them know who they will be able to count on during the next election!

I not that Chrysler removed their build and price option on the Canadian web site. Is that because they are trying to limit our understanding of the price difference between Cdn and US pricing? Seems if they are lowering prices the build and price option would help them inform potential buyers.
