Bernier holds up Bumpers!! Papers lost with Julie??

julie.jpgWe have just heard a rumor that our infamous Transport Canada amendment to Harmonize our Automobile Bumper Regulations with the U.S. and Europe has been held up with Bernier’s former Girl friend, Julie!!

Word has it, overworked and under whelmed Mr. Cannon requested Bernier to work it!

We guess he did.

Come on Harper please jump on it and pass the regulation, everyone agrees it is the overall good of the Canadian Consumer.  Are you still interested in pleasing them!

Before the papers were  discovered…..

Stop Corrupt Government and pass the Proposed Bumper Regulations.

Julie Fights Back, maybe we need her working on the Bumper File!!

Today Kelly Close wrote the following comments-

“ This site is awesome and I was put on to it by an employee of Transport Canada.

This needs to be addressed by W5 or Marketplace.”

Thanks for the good word, maybe some of our members can start writing in to these two shows.  They might need some good material to kick off the fall season.

U.S Car Sales Down…Canada Up

Tag: Auto Manufacturers, ConsumersRobert Lamb @ 10:50 am

globalautoreport1.JPGCar sales are way down in the U.S. and and Canadians are still buying!   …. Just a matter of time??

They say Canadians are buying due to the average price reductions of 7% over the past year.

We are  posting  the report from Scotia Economics and as well  the Canadian Newswire Summary of the report.  The report indicates that the Canadian Consumer is just tickled pink and happy to buy autos at the current pricing levels.

Many of these folks don’t realize they are still getting “hosed”  on price when compared to the US, and our press and media teams still don’t want to tell the real story.   And of course Harper and Transport Canada continue to make it difficult for the Canadian Consumer…

Seems like all the politicians and media , everyone is in Bed with the Car manufacturers except the average Canadian Consumer… and maybe Mr. Bernier?

Editors Note:  Mr. Cannon please pass the bumper legislation before the media digs up some dirt on you too!   Now would be a good time to make a splash, announce the bumper law ammendements  and redirect the media attention!

Good Deal… or bad deal!!

Tag: Auto Manufacturers, ConsumersRobert Lamb @ 9:33 am

Jeremy Cato, in last Thursday’s Gloge and Mail blatantly advocates  “seven top luxury buys for less than $36,000″

He goes on to identify the $32,000 TSX, $35,900 BMW323i, Lexus IS250 at 31,900 ( same price as the US-for “those of you that cross-border shop on pricing”)

But has Jeremy really put together a sound unbiased piece of reporting?? Do you associate cloth seats with luxury??

We beg to differ and so do the many folks that commented on the article.
He appears to be comparing apples to oranges and has really failed to do his due diligence. Is it true he that with all the shakeups and downsizing in the media that he might be working overtime for the Car Manufacturers??

Please enjoy the article, but more importantly check out the comments, most readers are not stupid!

Note: Reminder to myself.  I voted for Harper because he told all of us he was going to simplify Government and start looking after the “little guy”.    The RIV list in 2006 used to be around a dozen pages, in June of 2007 it was 20 pages, now it is 44 !!!  Way to go Stevie!

By the time you wiggle your way into the next election, we would not be surprised if the size of RIV list started competing with the Yellow Pages!!

The more pages you have the more people you can hire! I am sure the Canadian public will love you when we get the bill for this nonsense.

Hi Shiela F …. just keep your head in the sand….
