I’m sorry, I disagree. All the information needed to import a vehicle is available for free on the Internet. I do not feel comfortable with this even if it will help to defray expenses for CWB.

Frances, I can understand your opinion and I respect it. I don’t agree though. I feel that this is very thorough guide for the novice. It provides checklists and covers all apsects of the “do-it-yourself” approach. One other feature I find great is the constant up dates, you are a subscriber for life, you also receive the monthly newsletter that addresses current issues, and the fact that Zabin and her team are there to answer your questions and help you as well.
For someone just starting out and planning to purchase a car in the U.S. this is ideal. I also learned a thing or two when I read it.

These are all good points - I use the internet extensively to find info, learn, shop. I also buy a lot of books, a lot of the Dummy Series books - my latest one is blogging, wordpress etc.
The way I see it there are 4 ways to buy a car. 3 good and 1 bad.
1st way - using the internet - searching, reading, forums etc. this is what I did and a few thousand others I’m sure.
2nd way - buy a book , follow the guide & search the internet.
3rd way - recommended by APA - get yourself a broker @ $2000…
and the 4th - the wrong way - just buy in Canada.
We would appreciate comments on the guide and I am sure that Zabin would also as this fine book is in continuous improvement and constantly being updated.
