reagan-wall3.jpg“Prime Minister Harper” , if you seek peace, if you seek prosperity for “Canada and hard working Canadian citizens”, if you seek fairness and a free competitive economy,  Come here to this gate! Mr Harper” , open this gate! “Mr. Harper” , tear down this wall!

  •  We think it is about time that you, yes you … Mr. Harper become directly involved in these issues.   The Canadian Public is being gouged by very high and unfair automobile pricing.  These Car makers, with the help of Transport Canada , are preventing Canadians from purchasing Automobiles in the U.S.    Mr. Harper you represent us, not the Car Manufacturers.

May we remind you of a quote from one of your letters to us in December 2005.

Quote:

” The Conservative Party will stand up for Canada. Our team, led by Stephen Harper, will promote clean government and advance a modern, mainstream and realistic agenda that reflects the priorities of Canadians. We will bring about positive changes and address the urgent need for higher ethical standards from those who have been entrusted with our tax dollars.

  • Mr Harper, one of the priorities of Canadians is to achieve a better standard of living.  $$$6-8 Billion is being gouged out of hard working Canadians each year due to the difference in Automobile pricing.  We deserve the right to purchase our Automobiles at a fair price, like our American Cousins.

I realy believe that MR Harper will do nothing about this. He gets to much money from these manufacturers to run his election campain. In other words what I am saying is “Money talks, BS Baffles. He already Knows what is going on. Remember he is top Dog and if he does not know what the ministry of transportation [TC] is doing, do we really want him running our country???????? Roger

    Mr. Lamb,
please contact me at my e-mail address.
    Thanks,
    John

  3. Kirkland Joe says:

I personally think that PM Harper has done a fine job thus far. Is this item on his agenda, probably not, but if this site, and all those associated with it, make enough noise, I think real results will come out of the conservative govt. Would Jean Chretien, Paul Martin, or Stephane Dion doing any better…my bet is with PM Harper’s government.

  4. Robert Lamb says:

KIrkland Joe, you might be right. Several times our e-mails to him have been answered with the following quote: “On behalf of the Right Honourable Stephen Harper, I would like to acknowledge receipt of your e-mail, in which you raised an issue that falls within the portfolio of the Honourable Lawrence Cannon, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities. I regret the delay in replying.

Please be assured that your comments have been carefully reviewed. I have taken the liberty of forwarding your message to the Minister, who, I am certain, will wish to give your views every consideration.”

So at this point, we would just like 5 minutes with the man!! We would tell him he needs to get involved, his minister can not handle these issues! We would ask him what an extra $6-8 Billion dollars a year would do for the Canadian Economy! This issue is bigger that a cut in the GST! This issue is bigger than the Mulroney Affair! This issue is all about the average hardworking Canadian! The people that make this country run! The same people that elected him to resolve issues like this!
