I cannot believe that TC will has secret meetings with manufacterers. It seems like that TC is just a front to protect the big companies interests. Who is standing up for all the voters?? What are our ppoliticians doings?? Is this the kind of Canada we live in??????????????????

Too much work? I suppose letting people rot at the border and lose hundreds if not thousands of dollars due to problems they created through their seemingly malicious dithering was fine. If there ever is an accurate comparison of hours of work and extra expense between the Gov’t and the affected citizens the results would embarrass our Transport Canada whiners. They have a duty to perform on behalf of our interests.
Great job in keeping on these guys, Robert. I may have lost my new ‘08 sale but if I ever want a used ‘08 the proposed changes must take effect.

response to Guljit:
The kind of Canada we are living in is the kind of Canada where the policitians are enjoying their holiday season, and the GENERAL PUBLIC like us who got caught in Limbo with our cars are monitoring our website to see what fate will hold in store for us and our cars.
We are second class citizens because we were the bad guys who went to the US to buy our Cars even when it was perfectly legal at the time, and then the rules just changed and here we are: sleepless nights, not being able to go see our sick parents when we need to go, because we don’t have cars.
It is a very Merry Christmas in the land we call home and Canada.
Thanks you very much Transport Canada and special greetings to the Minister of Transport
