Mr. Cannon’s Reassurance - “No Soup For You”!
After Mr. Cannon’s declaration on Tuesday Nov 20th, we all waited for some kind of posting on the T.C./RIV Web to echo his reassuring words. Our team members received the notice posted here, in the mail on Friday Nov 23. An expulsion notice, Click the thumbnail to the right to enlarge the letter.
When calling the RIV they were very bluntly told that they are now following all the rules! And that our member had an inadmissible car and it must go!
(seeing we are all stressed out and having trouble sleeping, and our family and work life has been pretty well shot over the last few weeks, I thought maybe we needed a little laugh, laughter makes you more relaxed and focuses you and our team on the end goal…so enjoy this little bit of humor and get ready to work hard and win the war!

This could be the end of the line for my family this week. The lack of any tangibly positive response from Transport Canada is keeping people in limbo - that is until they are forced to either export, sell or lose their vehicle purchases because their car dealer has to release them. Transport Canada’s delay is seemingly intentional and will soon permanently hurt many of us stuck in their mess.
Those in charge at Transport Canada should be ashamed to take home their paycheque. They work not in the service of Canada’s citizens.
